Topic: Practical information on the “cold boot” attack
Language: English
Bio:

Abstract:
In this talk, we will learn how to take advantage of the phenomenon of
DRAM remanence to gain access to the contents of memory from a running
computer, how the structure of cryptographic key material allows an
attacker to easily find a key hidden in gigabytes of data, and how
this structure can be used to efficiently reconstruct a key even from
only partial information.
